MARGRET McBRIDE worked in the marketing departments of Random House and Ballantine Books, Warner Books in New York and Pinnacle Books in Los Angeles before opening her agency in 1980. She is a member of the Association of Authors Representatives (AAR), Author’s Guild, Authors League and is on the executive board of trustees at La Jolla Playhouse Board. Margret’s initial success as a literary agent began in 1981 with the sale of the New York Times bestseller, THE ONE MINUTE MANAGER by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson M.D., THE ONE MINUTE SALESPERSON, THE PRESENT all international bestseller.
